Let me tell you about the story of my modern and contemporary

Apartment. The unit is let out as an entire unit and is your very own

private space for the stay. 

With two under cover basement parking bays which is important 

as the beach becomes hectic in summer. There is plenty of guest

parking including for 4 trailers and an elevator system. 

The apartment has enjoyed tremendous success historically

as it is situated 10km or 3 minutes from King Shaka International

Airport and has accommodated guests for an overnight stays using

the airport or holiday makers looking for a picture perfect beach accommodation

(but in an upmarket unit with all the amenities) in the south African school holidays. In addition I can assure you that the Umdloti is still one of the best and safest beaches in Durban. Umdloti beach is the next off-ramp from the King Shaka International Airport and near Umhlanga & Sibaya Casino.

It is a beach holiday destination and very popular in school holidays.

After owning this unit for over 4 years I have decided this year to totally renovate this unit, and move it from tenancy to full time holiday letting. The renovations of this apartment spanned over the first half the 2018 year, in which the apartment was remodeled and the entire old unit was striped out. I had purchased her initially from a retired investor. 

This Apartment comprises 3 bedrooms with one en-suite and one separate bathroom with walk in showers. Modern finishes and contemporary style through out. 

Fully equipped kitchen comprising of fridge, microwave, under mount sink, granite tops, hot & cold water, gas stove top free standing unit electrical oven for guests to cook their own meals, washing & dry machine,

Drying area on balcony,

All kitchen pots & pans and dinner ware and silverware. Toaster, kettle, snackwich machine.

The apartment has been refitted with commercial appliances. 

Unit is self-catering.

Lounge has DSTV compact (in December holidays the full DSTV package is used), '

sleeper couch,

wall to wall large balcony windows for better views.

Samsung sound system.

Bedroom 1 comprises of Queen bed, ceiling fan, safe, newly fitted cupboards, dressing mirror.

Bedroom 1 bath room en-suite a walk in shower, Giberit toilet system , mirror & vanity cupboard

Bedroom 2 comprises of Queen bed, ceiling fan, newly fitted cupboards with sea views.

Bedroom 3 comprises of Double bed, newly fitted cupboards, ceiling fan with sea view.

All fittings used are stainless steel. 

Passage aircon for bedrooms.

All rooms have mirrors and oil painting art work.

Bathroom 2 has an open walk in shower with bath tap, Giberit toilet system with mirror & vanity

 

Towels, bed sheets, pillows, soaps, shampoo, toilet paper, bed linen, blankets provided.

Kitchen counter can be used as laptop workspace.

Iron & ironing board

First aid kit on premises.

fire extinguisher, smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors installed.  

 

 

Unit has balcony with sea view to the Umhlanga Pearl and to the Point Harbor.

Outdoor plunge pool and swimming pool 

with full braai area. 

Unit is sea facing, and opposite main tidal pool & life guard house and boat slipway.

Unit is situated in main beach and very busy in Christmas time.

 

24 hour manned boom gate & guard house.

24 hour security patrol.

Electrical fencing on boundary of apartments CCTV camera in main entrance areas.

The apartment also has a complex manager who can assist within working hours.  

Children allowed.

The apartment Assist people with liquidity management a holiday with us with a family of 4 is far cheaper 

than paying per person sharing.

We provide people there dream holiday buy helping them stretch their Rands. 

Long terms stay for guest are allowed.

From King Shaka International Airport ,
Leave Boulevard Rd towards Link Rd,
Turn left on to Link Rd, Turn right towards M65, At junction 195, take sliproad to N2 towards Durban / Pietermaritzburg / Stanger, At junction 190, take sliproad left to M27 towards Umdloti / Verulam,
At roundabout, take 1st exit on to North Beach Rd
